Fall 2024 Girls/Boys Novice Program
BLS Crew looks forward to welcoming new Novice rowers in Fall 2024! The BLS Crew Novice program provides an opportunity for students to participate in both on-the-water rowing and on-land conditioning, and provides an excellent introduction to the fun, teamwork, community, and competition of the BLS Crew Team. All grade levels are welcome
Because the Fall season is short, the team can ONLY accept new Novice rowers for the Fall 2024 season IF they have participated in at least one week (and preferably two weeks) of a Learn-to-Row program. Students are encouraged to participate in BLS Crew's Summer Learn-to-Row Program if possible. However, if the dates do not work, other dates are available through Community Rowing, Inc. (CRI).
Alternatively, the BLS Crew Winter/Spring 2025 Novice program will start with indoor winter training in mid-January 2025. No prior experience or participation in a separate Learn-to-Row program is required for Novices who begin in the Winter/Spring season.
To register for the Fall season, complete this form: Fall Rower Registration.
