Returning Boys Rowing - Summer 2023

This program is open to all Novice and Varsity boys who have rowed at least one BLS full season. (If rowers from other programs are interested, please email registrar@blscrew.org.) The boys' summer program will run for seven weeks, and you can choose how many weeks you want to sign up for, with a minimum of two weeks. If you choose to participate in less than the full program, you can choose which weeks you would like to participate in - they do not have to be consecutive weeks.

Practice Times and Location

Schedule: Monday - Thursday: 6:00pm - 8:00pm

Week 1: July 10 - 13, 2023

Week 2: July 17 - 20, 2023

Week 3: July 24 - 27, 2023

Week 4: July 31 - Aug 3, 2023

Week 5: Aug 7 - Aug 10, 2023

Week 6: Aug 14 - Aug 17, 2023

Location: All practices at BLS Boathouse.

Required Forms

*All forms should be scanned and uploaded to the BLS Crew Forms Submission Portal by Friday, June 7*

Sports Clearance: If you rowed with BLS in Spring 2023 and the doctor's physical date on your BLS sports clearance was after June 1, 2022 OR you obtain a Fall 2023 BLS Sports Clearance from the BLS Nurses on or before Thursday, June 23, you do not need to obtain a new sports clearance for the Summer session unless you have had an intervening illness or injury. If you did not row with BLS in Spring 2023, you must submit a physician's school/camp form, dated after June 1, 2022, scanned and uploaded to the BLS Crew Forms Submission Portal.
If you did not row with BLS in Fall 2022 or Spring 2023, you must submit a signed BLS Crew Safety Pledge via the BLS Crew Forms Submission Portal.

Fees and Financial Aid

2 weeks: $210 ($105/wk)
3 weeks: $300 ($100/wk)
4 weeks: $380 ($95/wk)
5 weeks: $450 ($90/wk)
6 weeks: $510 ($85/wk)

Payment is due Friday, July 7, unless a financial aid or payment plan arrangement has been made.
