Textile River Regatta

Welcome back to Regatta land.

​

The Textile River Regatta is a 30+ club regatta pitting the purple checkered oars against some of the fastest boats in New England. You're going to love this one. Up-to-date regatta info can be found at Regatta Central and Textile River Regatta.

• WHO -  All Squads

• WHERE - UMass Lowell Bellegarde Boathouse, 500 Pawtucket Blvd, Lowell, MA 01854.  The BLS tents are typically located on the river side of Pawtucket Blvd. approximately a 1/4 mile east of the Bellegarde Boathouse (a bit west of the Camelot Court Apartments, across from the parking field.)

• WHEN

  • Coxswains & Coaches meeting will be held Friday, September 29 at 7:00pm via Zoom. 

  • Arrival times will be staggered by race times and could start as early as 7:30am (see Race Tracker). Typical times are:​

    • 8:00 am - 2:00 pm Racing

    • 3:00 pm estimated departure Time - athletes should await coaches' instructions before departing

• TRACKER

  • Specific line-up and race time info will be posted on the Race Tracker by Thursday evening  

• VOLUNTEERS - Signup Genius Link will be published by Monday Evening. We will have 65+ athletes, plus coaches, parents etc. to feed.

• OTHER INFORMATION

  • Parking is in the grass lots across the street from the river and costs $20. Parking map can be found here under the link Parking.

  • Coffee is available directly across the street at Dunkin' Donuts and Market Basket is right over the bridge (left past the boathouse) if you need anything
