Volunteer​

Aside from our professional coaching staff, BLS crew is run entirely by volunteers. All parents are expected to support the team in one of many several capacities:

1. Regatta Support

​

Regattas are complicated, all-day affairs involving transportation, hospitality set-up and food. BLS crew uses www.signupgenius.com to support these efforts. Rowers and parents will receive links to sign up for food items and volunteer shifts on the Crew-BLS user group.

​

At each Regatta, the team also needs to identity volunteers with a truck or SUV to pick up and deliver the BLS Hospitality Trailer at the beginning of the event and then return it to the BLS boathouse at the end of the event. Regatta organizers can provide the appropriate ball hitch and, if necessary, brake light adaptor.
