The Ergathon is our major annual fundraiser - this event helps us build the financial aid program, allows us to upgrade equipment & gear, and supports the program for our BLS Crew varsity and novice teams. An “Erg” is short for ergometer, the rowing machine used for training and fitness. During the Ergathon event, each rower takes a turn on the Erg and will attempt to row 10,000 meters. What makes this event special is that ALL team members can row on Saturday, May 2nd to support this effort.
