Try rowing this summer! No experience required!

​​Open to all grade levels of current and incoming BLS students, Learn to Row is a great way to get on the water, learn the basics, and see what BLS Crew is all about.​

WHY LEARN TO ROW?

Learn the fundamentals of rowing
• Build confidence in a supportive environment
• Meet other students interested in crew
• Get a head start before the fall season

WHAT TO EXPECT

• Sessions take place on the Charles River in Brighton
• Athletes learn the basics of rowing, including technique and teamwork
• Led by BLS Crew coaches and experienced rowers
• All equipment is provided

QUICK QUESTIONS

Do I need rowing experience?
No. This program is designed for students who are brand new to rowing.

 

Is this only for experienced athletes?
Not at all. Learn to Row is meant to be an accessible introduction.

 

Should I do this if I’m considering crew in the fall?
Yes. It’s a great way to get comfortable with the sport ahead of the season.
