BLS Alum Chosen as Male Athlete of the Year.

From The Daily Pennsylvanian(thedp.com): On Sept. 24, US Rowing announced its Under 23 National Team Male and Female Athletes of the Year, and Penn’s own heavyweight senior Sam Sullivan was chosen as Male Athlete of the Year.“I mean, it's really exciting,” Sullivan said. “It was really special because it's voted on by the teammates, the coaches, so just the people around us, they thought I deserved it.”The winners of US Rowing’s awards are selected by the athletes and coaches who competed at the 2024 World Rowing Under 23 Championships in St. Catherines, Ontario earlier this year. Sullivan competed on the U23 national team, helping the men’s eight boat to a silver medal, finishing just seconds behind Great Britain.
