Returning Rowers - Summer 2024
This program is open to all Novice and Varsity rowers who have rowed at least one BLS full season. (If rowers from other programs are interested, please email registrar@blscrew.org.) The summer program will run for seven consecutive weeks, and you may choose how many weeks you want to sign up for, with a minimum of two weeks. If you choose to participate in less than the full program, you may choose which weeks you would like to participate in - they do not need to be consecutive weeks.

Schedule:
Returning Girls Rowers: Monday - Thursday, 6:30 - 8:30 a.m.
Returning Boys Rowers: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
First week: Jul 8, 2024 - Jul 11, 2024
Last week: Aug 12, 2024 - Aug 15, 2024
Location: All practices at BLS Boathouse
Registration Close Date: Friday, July 5th, 2024

Required Forms:
*All forms should be scanned and uploaded to the BLS Crew Forms Submission Portal by Friday, June 28th.
(1) Sports Clearance: If you rowed with BLS in Spring 2024 and the doctor's physical date on your BLS sports clearance was after June 1, 2023, you do not need to obtain a new sports clearance unless you have had an intervening illness or injury. If you did not row with BLS in Spring 2024, you must submit a physician's school/camp form, dated after June 1, 2023, scanned and uploaded to the BLS Crew Forms Submission Portal.
For Athletes needing sports clearance, you can register at BLS Athletics
(2) Safety Pledge: If you did not row with BLS in Fall 2023 or Spring 2024, you must submit a signed BLS Crew Safety Pledge (available at https://www.blscrew.org/safety-pledge) via the BLS Crew Forms Submission Portal.
Fees and Financial Aid:
IMPORTANT: All payment is due to Friends of BLS Crew upon registration.
Financial Aid: Friends of BLS Crew is committed to ensuring that crew is affordable for all students and families in the BLS community. If you would like to request financial assistance for the crew program, please send an email to registrar@blscrew.org.
