Spring 2020 Rower Fees Payment
Rower fees are $750 for Varsity, $500 for Novices
Rower fees are due by December 20, 2019, for Varsity rowers and returning Novice rowers, and by March 13, 2020, for New Novice rowers UNLESS a financial aid or alternative payment arrangement has been made.
For Varsity rowers only, BLS Crew hopes to again arrange for a bus from BLS to the boathouse for the 5 pm on-the-water practice start time (Novices can easily take the BLS supplemental #57 immediately after school for the 3:15 pm practice time). The suggested amount to contribute to the bus cost is $300. We understand that not all families are able to add this cost to their fall budget. We also greatly appreciate that some families have offered to make a donation above and beyond the $300 to make the bus financially possible. Friends of BLS Crew holds a strong conviction that crew has the potential to transforms a student's experience at BLS, in college and beyond. Dougherty Power 10 Fund in 2017 ensures that, now and in the future, financial aid funds will be available to families who cannot afford the rower fees.
