The New England Interscholastic Rowing Association (NEIRA) regatta has grown to a day-long event for approximately 900 rowers in several hundred boats representing 30 schools, both public and private.

  • WHO

    • Athletes in qualifying boats. Information will be communicated to athletes during the week

  • WHEN

    • Lineups and race times will be posted by Thursday evening on the Race Tracker.

    • SignUpGenius link will be emailed on Tuesday evening. As use of a trailer is impractical at this event, we will be shuttling hospitality supplies in cars - stay tuned. We will have 50+ athletes, plus coaches, parents, etc. to feed and support.

    • Parking is available in garages at the U Mass Medical Center. Signs will be posted and specific information will be posted in the "Confirmation Packet" found on the New England Championships page at If you don't feel like paying for parking, continue driving past the Regatta Point Park entrance and look for spots on either side of N. Lake Avenue. If you haven't found a spot before you reach Dominion Ave., take a left on Dominion, head up the hill and you will definitely find one.

    • There will be a $10/ person admission charge to enter the Regatta Point area. This money “goes directly to the local organizing committee to help cover the costs for hosting the regatta.” In previous years, if you paid on Saturday, you didn't need to pay again on Sunday.

    • Additional race and competitor info can be found at

    • Live results can be found at (You will need to register.)
